I am a proud Marine who believes in Marine Corps honor codes. They are Honor, Courage and Commitment.

Using these honor codes they allow me the opportunity to help others less fortunate.

Anyone who knows me knows my biggest passion is my 11 year old grandson. He truly is my best friend and yes I do spoil him. Isn't that what grandparents supposed to do.

I was diagnosed bipolar late in life, 2009. My reaction was fear and helplessness. Since then I have come to understand that being diagnosed with a mental illness is not a death sentence. So I take care of myself both physically and mentally.

My place of employment involves assisting 8 consumers all of whom are with us on a 302.

I will continue to seek out whatever learning I can do concerning mental illness.
