This workshop will discuss the role of the peer specialist as a unique and valued member of the ACT Team.  It will review the strengths of using a CPS in community integration, recovery oriented treatment and the harm reduction model.  We will also provide specific examples of programs we suse to demonstrate how useful, effective and valuable the peer specialist is to the work of the ACT Team.
